Surgical Services

Having surgery can be frightening, both for the individual who will be undergoing surgery as well as his/her family members. Our surgical services department is committed to helping make this experience less stressful for you and your family. The personalized care and attention we provide to our patients and families offer a comforting atmosphere that will help to alleviate any fears you or your loved one may have.

We have high standards for the quality of care we provide, and hope this is evident in the services we offer to you and your family. You can trust your care to our surgical teams, which include surgeons and certified registered nurse anesthetists and other specialty physicians who use our operating rooms. These physicians are supported by highly-skilled nurses and technicians who are devoted to ensuring a positive surgical experience for you and your family.

We perform both inpatient and outpatient surgery in our modern operating rooms, which are equipped with the latest technology and equipment.

When you arrive for surgery, we ask that you sign in with an attendant in our registration area. In this waiting room are a television and reading material. From there, you may be directed to the surgical waiting room, or you will be taken to our pre-operative holding room, where you will stay until time for your surgery. A family member will be allowed to stay with you during this time. During surgery, a member of the O.R. crew will communicate information from the surgery team to your family.

After your surgery, you will recover in our recovery rooms, where a specially-trained nurse provides care during your postoperative period.
