Emergency Medicine

Emergency Medicine physicians are trained to provide comprehensive medical treatment with particular emphasis on urgent care. After medical school, an emergency medicine physician is required to have ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification. Additional certifications may be obtained in Emergency Medicine.
